2006 Chrylser 300
Just picked up a "new" Chysler 300 with 45,000 K on it off a 3 year lease from a local dealer here in Toronto. I had an LHS before with the 3.5 litre engine and a very smooth drive train. The 300 has basically the same set up. Q: Other than the rear drive axel set up this time around with the 3.5, I find that the de-acceleration and the transmission response appears in my estimation to be problematic in that there are obvious [noticeable] thresholds as it gears down. It is not exactly seemless as in the acceleration mode. What is this and can it be smoothed out? Is this a recall item? Is it the transmission fluid, the transmission modual, the computer ???
Q: Is anyone else experiencing this "problem"?
Thank you.
