Default 2006 300 v6 no start.

Hey folks. I have a 2006 Chrysler 300 v6 that is having a strange issue. I recently replaced the battery with a new one but then I let the car sit for 10 days in the winter cold. I'm not sure if this killed the battery or it is just a coincidence that is happening along side another problem.

When turning the car over I do not hear as much as a click or any attempt for the starter to engage (boosting or not). I do hear the fuel pump activate. After having booster cables hooked up for about 15 minutes and numerous attempts to start the car, it randomly started. I'm not sure if the start was a result of boosting the battery or just turning the key at the right time. I left the car on for about 45 minutes and drove it for another 15 to make sure the battery was charged but noticed that the wipers and the dome lights would not turn on. Also while driving, the check engine light would come on and off intermittently as if something was losing and regaining connection. There is also a turn key diagnostic code p0645 (bad AC relay).

Once I turned the car off it immediately went back to not turning over or engaging the starter at all. Any suggestions to help me troubleshoot would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Could it be a bad wire or corrosion somewhere ?

Couple of things to check, CLEAN and tight terminal connectors at the battery, and make sure fully in park or Neutral.

A bad battery new out of the box is not unheard of. Take it back to the store that sold it and have them check it.
