Default 2006 chrysler 300c hemi..wont start!! HELP

2006 300c hemi. Started fine, drove fine got home went to leave again and WILL NOT START. when turn key i hear a clicking like sound. All components working(radio lights etc). Just will not turn over to start. Car has a little more that 1/2 tank of gas. I did the turn key to on ac-on ac-on and NO codes!
I did notice the other day when i started it (it started just fine) that the fuel gauge went up dropped down and went back up to normal spot. Anyone have any input???

clicking as in like a low or dead battery? Just because the lights, radio, etc. work doesn't mean the battery is good.

I would start by checking the cables to the battery, both + and -. Lots of times you'll find your problem there in bad connections, loose connections, etc.

If no problem there, then I would remove the battery and bring to local auto parts store for load testing although I don't really trust them anymore to not try to sell you something you don't need. Then again the dealer is just as bad.

Put battery charger on for about 20 mins. Started right up..pulled it in the garage. Going to leave battery charger on it for a few hours. Hoping all I need to replace is the battery!!

Had a similar issue recently turned out it was a worn battery, luckily I was able to get a replacement at 4 wheel online, got an Optima brand that claims to work longer compared with other brands.
