Default 2007 Chrysler 300 2.7 v6 (spark plugs)

I want to change the spark plugs on my vehicle, what is the gap size for this model?

If you use OEM Champion platinum you wont need to gap them

Is it a pretty simple/ straightforward process? I’d prefer not spending money where I don’t have to. I already bought the plugs and tools. How long is the whole process?

Jose,

The Haynes manual for your car with the 2.7L engine says the spark plug gap is 48 to 58 thousands (.048 to '058).

if you gap platinum plugs you will erode the tips which will cause issues like them failing sooner.

I agree with Chrysler Tech, pretty much all plugs now are pre-gapped, so just make sure you get the right ones. It's a fairly process to do, just make sure you have a spark plug removal tool and do 1 at a time, that way you can't mix the wires up when putting them back on.
