So I want to do an engine swap on my base model 2019 Chrysler 300, it has the 3.6L Pentastar V6 and I recently found a 6.4L V8 Hemi from a 2016 charger RT for $1500 and I love my Chrysler and no I’m not selling it or trading for one with the engine I want, selling the Chrysler isn’t an option, I understand there are many problems with engine swaps even though this is on the easier sides of engine swaps, I also know I’ll have to upgrade suspension, brakes, exhaust, tires, and I’ll need a new radiator for it. As far as I know they have the same or similar 8 speed automatic that most dodge and Chryslers get so I don’t think I’ll have to switch that out anytime soon. I NEED HELP AND RECOMMENDATIONS ON STUFF I WILL NEED FOR THIS SWAP: special tools, programming/ecu pcm and such compatibility and other things than just the engine that I should take off the donor car.
