i've changed my egr valve but my engine light still comes on and off at times. can anyone help me.

 

what are the codes for the light?

 

P0404. but i got a new EGR valve put in back in January, these symptoms have been popping up in the last month or so. first oil light was blinking then right to the engine light just staying on. had it checked out and the code was P0404. also tried resetting computer by unhooking battery for an hour. that worked for a week but stilling getting engine light on. ughhh.

 

factory part used or aftermarket?

 

new part best i know.

 

just trying to figure out what to do about the engine light thats staying on. i want to keep the car running well without any issues.
