Default Electrical fault

I'm pretty good at working on cars but electrical work is not my strong suit.
My Chrysler 300C hemi 2006 will tell me to check tpm system Everytime I turn on the vehicle. While driving all of the gauges will drop and all of the dash lights light up, including my backup sensor lights. The tpms check warning lights immediately after. Sometimes the gauge cluster will continue to, for lack of a better term, freak out for up to a couple minutes.

Get your battery load tested at Autozone or any such place that does this work. You might try disconnecting the battery and holding the cables together for a few seconds. This sometimes cures the system of craziness.
What you have described is often the sign of a battery on it's way out or possibly a weak alternator.

On an '06 charger, the failing alternator was putting out an occasional ac ripple sufficient enough to reset the instrument cluster and send it through the initial lamp check and also reset the obd monitors so they were always in a 'not ready' state. Replacing the alternator resolved this issue.

It is possible that testing will show the failing alternator or ac ripple, however this alternator 'looked good' after being tested.

If replacing the alternator, only get a rebuild if the diode pack has been replaced as some rebuilds are only bearings, brushes and paint. I only replace with new alternators; a bit more $$ but I will not be replacing 1-2 years later.

I do agree with tarhealcracker to get the battery checked as chryslers do not tolerate low voltages (like an ac ripple will minic) and will exhibit all sorts of weird and seemingly unrelated issues and possibly obd codes. If the battery is over 3 years old, consider replacing it. I would replace a 3 year old battery on my own vehicle if I had this issue.
