Default Engine Alignment??

Has anyone heard of this one from a Dealer.
An "engine alignment" on a 05 Touring with the 3.5L.
It's cold here in Michigan right now and upon a cold start in the morning at about 20 degrees or below, the engine seems to be running rough for about 10-15 min., like an air flow sensor is bad or something and this is at idle, and in park still.
Now when it's above that temp.,starts and runs fine.
Took it to the dealer. Needs plugs, air filter and a computer "flash" for rough idle.Fine I say,pay the $350.00 and drive away happy, until the next afternoon.
Again,"cold". Start it up same thing runs rough, call the Service Dept. return the car and complain, they'll get it fixed.
Supposably they find a bad motor mount and that's causing the feeling of running rough. So they replaced both mounts but still "shakes".
So now they need to do an "engine alignment". A WHAT????
Has anyone, ever heard this one or even had this done?

Only thing that i can recall that comes up for an engine alingment is when you eitehr replace a motor or transx on an older caravan you have to center the engine or else it will vibrate really bad.

Yeh, I was kinda of thinking along those lines too but,I got a call from theService Manager the other day.
While waiting for the second motor mount to come inover the weekend,it seemed to have snowed abit (6-8 inches).Soduring the snow removal with the plows, one slipped, and wiped out just about the entire front end sheetmetal of my car.
Pass. Fender,Hood, Front Fascia,Grille, Headlites.Everything to the Radiator Core gone.$4500.00 in damage. Was I pissed off? No. Needed the front repainted anyway.(couple of stonechips)
But I wonder if that's their tactic for asking for more time to figure outthe original problem?
Maybe they think I'll forget about the shake because, it'll beabout 2 weeks before the car's fixed and repainted!
