Default foul odor

When I start up my car the A/C puts out a foul odor till it starts cooling good. Has anyone had this problem? What can be done to fix this?Covered on warranty?

You may have a dead mouse or bird in the duct work. Ive seen this before so dont discount that. Have the dealer check it out. You can spray "Bio Fresh" by NU-Calgon in the return duct with the fan operating. This will stop mal oders and molds. We use it in commercial A/C . It has no smell, its rated for A/C use and has a "Kill Rate". Its completely safe.

This is the Chrysler TSB that was issued for the problem you mention:

Hope that's the solution to your problem.

... love it when people post a problem and either never return, or don't reply.
