Default GPS not working

2018 Chrysler 300 Limited, our GPS quit working on our way to Florida this winter. We are in Iowa and the GPS is locked into North Dakota, and compass does not work. I tried soft reset and have looked for current updates (none available). Anything else I can try before taking it to the dealer and paying the charge? Thanks for any input!

Hi there--
We're super sorry to hear about that! We can understand how that would be concerning, but please know that I will do my best to help you reach a resolution. It is possible that your Uconnect software is not up-to-date. Enter your VIN in the following link: https://www.driveuconnect.com/suppor...re-update.html to make sure. If this doesn't resolve your concerns, please follow back up.

Thank you,

Courtney

Click on the red ChryslerCares name and choose "Send a Private Message to ChryslerCares". They refuse to provide solutions on the public side of the board where the rest of the users here could benefit but rather prefer to hide their wisdom from the general public. They claim that it's somehow VIN specific whether it is or not.
