Default Hands-Free System Loading. Please Wait ...

Hello,

I’ve got a 2013 300C with just over 100k miles. While I was driving the other driving the other day, I attempted to switch to the Phone screen to make a call and I received a message “Hands-Free System Loading. Please Wait ...” Now, this screen will not go away. Has anyone had this issue? Has anyone fixed this issue without going to the dealership or repair shop?

Thanks.

Hello Alex,

I would be glad to; however, I need an administrator to enable private messaging.

Thanks.

I had trouble with my Uconnect pairing with my wife's I phone. I updated/reloaded the Uconnect software from here https://www.driveuconnect.com/suppor...re-update.html . Solved my problem. Perhaps it will help with yours.

It’s not a pairing issue per se, it’s seems like a major software malfunction. Chrysler hasn’t updated the Uconnect software for my vehicle since 2017. So, unless I reinstall that update, I don’t have any software solutions. I might disconnect the battery and see if that resets the whole system, but I think the Uconnect system has an internal battery backup. Has anyone had this specific issue with their hands-free system? How was it resolved?

I had problem pairing my wife's phone and, as reported in an earliest post, I updated the software and was then successful in pairing her phone. She has since acquired a new I phone and it would not pair. I again loaded the update software and it then paired without problem.

Hello, I have the same problem with uconnect in my Chrysler 300s 2013. There is a message hands-free system loading and I can’ t modify any settings in Bluetooth/ phone module. On July 2020 I went to my dealer and they fix it - but they were telling me that’s there was everything ok- they didn’t find any problem. I was using this module few months and now I have the same problem...I made by myself updating of unconnect but system still not working . What can I do with this ? Can I do it by myself? And maybe I should buy new Bluetooth module? I think that my dealer don’t know what to do or they don’t tell me everything , please help me.

Default Hands Free System Loading

My Uconnect is saying Handsfree system loading. The battery trick only solves the issue for the next time you crank the vehicle after that it’s back. I have tried resetting with the volume and enter **** and it doesn’t work. I have also tried updating the system but it is saying I have the latest update. Is there a recall on these? This is very inconvenient and simply annoying, please help.
