Default Jerk when breaking is this a trans issue?

2012 Chrysler 300 58,000 miles
Hello, I was wondering if anyone experienced an issue with the 2012 Chrysler 300 where it jerks/bumps when coming to a stop. It feels like another car is bumping you from behind.
It starts after a few minutes of driving.

any assistance or advise would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Does the car still "bump" if you coast to a stop with no brakes applied ?

What I'm driving at is separating Transmission issues from Braking Issues. If you have the "bump" with no brakes applied then check the drive shaft followed by transmission fluid.

If you get the "bump" only with brakes applied then maybe it's the brakes. Do report back.

So it seems it still does it when not on the brakes. I hold the breaks and then let off to a cruise and it still bumps. I can time it at this point where i come off the breaks right before it bumps. The problem is I can't check the transmission fluid on this vehicle does not have a user friendly access.

Well Markie, were it my car, I would have a transmission shop check the transmission fluid. If it's low and that fixes the problem then ya gotta ask yourself "where is that fluid getting to "
If fluid is not the issue, then a trip to the Dealer for a diagnosis is called for. I would not trust anyone else but the dealer to do this.
