another problem: here I go. my car weather you are driving or it is parked will start flashing head lights or flashers at random and when I go to open the door you can hear the dinging sound like you have a door open and the key isn't even in......It is at the dealership again and so far they can't find anything wrong because of course it isn't doing it for them!!!!! HELP anyone

does it look or sounds like the alarm is going off or is it only headlights and hazzard lights?? is there a pattern to which they flash aka like it would if the alarm was tripped or will they just flicker real fast or slow? and did u say they both do it at the same time or is it either or?

 

it's different every time sometimes just headlight and sometimes just the flashers and sometimes both the speed is sometimes fast and sometimes slow and other times they are just on...it's driving me crazy... any why when I open the door do I hear the dinging sound with no key in ????????.....thanks

 

ok I think u have a messed up multi function switch they control your hazzards and turn lights plus your high beam lights. The low beams are done with the switch on the left side. The chiming is the same as if u kept your headlights on from what i can take it that maybe a seperate issue all together.

 

I will pass the information on to the dealership to check the multi functionswitch and we will go from there!!! Thanks alot hope this helps....
