My 2016 300 Limited 3.6 has been having shift issues with shifting and some strange error codes and last week was at stop light when car suddenly went into neutral and msg in cluster said Place gear selector in P then select desired gear, I did so and it worked fine after that. After some internet research I found that in all cases I could find with the issue of suddenly going in neutral with that MSG it was resolved with new battery. I checked my battery and sure enough was the original from 2016, seemed to be fine but I replaced it and all my strange error codes and shifting issues stopped and have not had any other issues. since. Anyone else have this happen?
