So recently with my 300 i had to replace the pink piece inside the shifter as most owners have to. Replaced it and all was well but recently the car became very hard to get into and out of gear. Most of the time you can get it into drive and the other gears but you have to go past the point of where they would normally engage. Now today i cant get it to move at all. I pulled the lever off the transmission and the cable moves smoothly and freely. I tried moving the transmission lever but cant get it to move by hand. Is there some kind of Transmission module that controls the transmission from shifting into gear that would make it so that i cant move it without the engine running? I did a while back end up getting a transmission control module code but it went off on its own and it was right after a dead battery so i attributed it to that.

Any ideas?
