Smile Outdoor temp sensor

A while ago I had some a/c work done at the dealer and since the out door temp has been acting strange. For instance, today the temp is 94 and the display says it's 77. Usually after a few miles it displays the correct temp. I suspect the connection was not made correctly when the tech was under the dash.
Is there any way for me to check without tearing the dash apart?
Thanks
