Greetings:

I own a 300 and I am experiencing a problem with a popping sound (like a pebble hitting the windshield). It does not happen all the time. It happens primarily when I am driving on asemi-rougn road or hit a dip in the road. The noise come from the passenger side of the vehicle above the windshield. I have taken it to the dealer 3 times and will be returning for a fourth time on 10/25/05. Anyone else have experienced this problem.

 

Interesting post. I just bought a 300 Touring AWD and noticed the same thing but thought it may have been left over salt on the road. Ill keep a closer eye on it and let you know

 

That happens to me every morning when I start down my driveway and make my first turn. Then it goes away until the car sits and gets cold, then it happens again-just one quick pop sound out of the windshield. I just ignore it, but maybe I shouldn't.

 

i have the same problem. i have had the windshield replaced but no luck, it still does it. i asked my uncle cause he is a chrysler tech and he has no idea either.

 

I have a 2007 300 Limited, I've had the same problem and thought it was one of my speakers in the dash, that is so weired. Has anyone contacted chrysler or taken it to the shop to see what it is?

 

I had the same issue and found out the sunroof was loose. Once the dealer tightened it up, the popping noise stopped in my 300C. If you don't have a sunroof, then I'm not sure what to say but the dealer messing around up there somewhere stopped it!
