Default Question about the 300 Base

Greetings everyone! I am currently driving a 2002 GMC Somoma and I am getting ready to purchase my next vehicle. My Sonoma gets 15 mpg(city) and 21 mpg(hwy) and i believe the 300 gets 18 mpg(city) and 26 mpg(hwy). If i get the 300 base do you guys think that I will see the difference in gas mileage? I ask cause i know gas prices will continue to rise.

What kind of gas milage do you guys get?

Default RE: Question about the 300 Base

I have a 05 300 with the Limited package.
It has the 3.5 under the hood and I average 20.5 going back and forth to work etc.
This is some in town/city and some open road but no highway driving.
As I recall there is not that much differance between the 2.7 and 3.5 in gas mileage.
I drove both,do yourself a favor and get the 3.5 if possible.much more responsive.
This is a big beautiful car and needs the bigger 6.
You will enjoy the car either way.Good Luck
