Default Tire issue

Can someone answer this for me. We have a 300c
and it’s has 220/60/18 size tires on it. My question is this. I’ve come across a really good deal and wanted to know if 255/70/18 will fit my car without rubbing. There seems to be a lot of wheel well room.
thanks

Not certain of the tire will fit, but your speedometer will read low by almost 13%. For example, speedo says 30 - actual will be 34, speedo says 65 - actual will be 73. Unless you set your tire size the speeding tickets may cost more than you are saving.
