But i was a Trans Tec for A Ford dealer about 20 years agofor (10 years) and know the most of the trans srevice i did were not needed at the time they were sold by the service writer!
So that is why i asked my car has 68k on it now but the fluid is still red not to brown yet

when the writer sold it was it at the time of service in the manual?
if not then wait until the time in the service manual just like I said in the first post.

I did help U just dont see it for being a former tech u must have forgotten the golden rule of reading your owners manual to be aware of all the stuff in your newly purchased car huh? if U know what the manual says then why are u asking any one when to change it? go by what it says unless there is a leak or something has to be changed inside the tranny then u replace it b4 the service time geeee.

I own a 06 5.7L and I can see that manufacturer had but great effort into it I go By the manual It seams as good numbers there just 50to 100K before the OIL is due.about the Trans. OIL For the 5.7L it uses a BENZ Trans for the 1995 320S the Electrical type this is what they refer to in Qatar therfore it really depends on what oil you have used like If I used the Company Oil it is for 40K as they say but I Use the BENZ OIL gasket and the Filter since I can buy them From Benz cheaper and it is good for over 65K
