water pump
I have a 2006, 300C, 5.7, the water pump isn't making noise or causing the car to overheat, but the car does have 200100 miles on it. Never really had any motor problems, but it's at the repair shop now for what he thinks is a leaky thermostat housing. I see where the water is being sprayed to, just not where it's coming from. The question is, should I go ahead and fix a water pump that is NOT broken?

Cathy - I'm calling this a 50/50 proposition. Replacing the Water pump is a major step up from replacing the thermostat. On the other hand, if you plan to keep the car, go for it.

Thank you.
