On Sept 29, 2022, I was driving my Aspen when the SUV suddenly took off like I was Jeff Gordon at the Nascar 500 race. It sent me across a rural highway, into a cattle fence, where it landed on it's side and caught on fire and exploded four to five times. Chrysler really needs to do something about this problem as I was only spared my life by the Grace of God and two gentlemen who risked their life to save mine. If anyone has any acceleration problems AT ALL....DO NOT DRIVE THIS VEHICLE!!!! Come on Chrysler...fix your cars, put a recall on them---DO SOMETHING!!! I'm not the only person who has had this acceleration problem and Chrysler knows this!!!
My opinion only - this would be more believable if some sort of location information, e.g. county and state, would be included. Skeptical since the front end damage indicates more going on than a rollover.

the front end damage was done because I slammed in to cattle guard fence after the suv took off causing me to loose control. The suv rolled over tre fence
Wow. First I've heard of this problem. Glad you came out of it alive. Hope they do an investigation in to the accident for cause.
Thank you. I'm very grateful to be alive. I've found several others that have complained about the acceleration, most with auto accidents also. I've never had an accident in 45 years of driving and never want to be in one again. I feel fortunate to come out of it with a broken sternum, collar bone and 4 ribs.

With all the acceleration going on you didn't think to put it in neutral?? Every time I hear about a stuck accelerator that's all I can think. JUST DISENGAGE THE TRANS!!!
Plus the gas pedal is electronic with a redundant set of sensors in the pedal also in the throttle body same setup so the likely hood of 4 sets of sensors going bad at the same time is zero to nill.
This was a uses error like a foot slipped or a floor mat held the pas pedal down. And also the brake system unless modified has 10X more power to stop a car then the engine has to move it.
