I have a question regarding my
2007 Chrylser Aspen 4.7
I have owned it since 2007 but never put any attention to the AC lines.
Last week I was driving in San Diego CA which was like 90F. I had the AC full blast. The High Pressure Line Started smelling like the burning rubber, then I see all the Freon flying everywhere. The hose had a small hose on the rubber part.
I installed a new hose last night, and I used 1 bottle of 18 oz of Freon to put into my car.
The high pressure discharge line "see the picture" gets super hot, burning how when I touch it. is that normal? or do I have a problem with my AC system?
