A month ago, the car started making strange noises under the hood sounded like metallic noise than wouldn’t move, my wife saw some blue smoke came out of exhaust. Scared so Turned off engine waited a while and started the engine and it was working. So drove around a few more days with the similar symptoms on and off then had MIL warning light (malfunction indication light) came on...and car became completely dead, engine wouldn’t start. Only little clicking sound. Took it to Chrysler dealer shop, they say they cannot fix it. Took it to private dealer, the mechanic says some major short occurring under the dashboard needs to fix first then have to deal with the main transmission system which the parts might not be available. Did anyone have similar experience? Can you recommend any solution or person/place to fix? I am in the Bay Area.
