So my 08 left me stranded today on a fishing trip. It cranks but doesn't fire. When I turn the key to accessory you can't hear the fuel pump running. I checked the fuel pump fuse and relay both were good but I changed them anyway. Shot of starting fluid got the motor running for a second. With the key at accessory and then during cranking I pressed open the Schrader valve on the fuel rail and fuel only seeped out.

I dropped the skid plate and smacked the tank where the pump is with a hammer hoping for some life no dice.

What else can I do to make sure its the fuel pump that is bad before I drop the tank?
