Disable tpms dash light?
Disable tpms? Bought a 2007 Aspen and found out no tire sensors in tires, so dash light is on and off as it looks for data. Anyway to disable light until I need tires
Hello!
For those of you who only want to disable TPMS and not pay for the OBD interface and the ALFAOBD app - pay me for my TPMS simulator device!
Actually, get it for free, as it has not yet been tested on any FCA vehicle. Be prepared for some remote programming sessions using your Windows PC / laptop. Wanted vehicles:
Chrysler; 200 (Limited, LX, S, Touring); 2011 – 2014
Chrysler; 300 (Touring); 2005
Chrysler; 300, 300C (Limited, Touring); 2006
Chrysler; 300, 300C (Limited, Touring); 2007

If you have air pressure display on the overhead (above the rear view mirror).
Each tire is displayed with approx pressure.
These need the monitors installed during tire install. This system for the individual ABS and especially ESP function rely on low indicator check as well as magnetic pick up on tire rpm to calculate the instant " save ur ***" braking deal when needed.
This system will reset itself after TPMS installs. Pressure will have a variation of +/- 3 lbs. The system is Bosch, i.e. Diamler/Chrysler parts the sensors I got at 1aauto.com along with brakes, plugs, coil packs, etc, etc.
Long/short... get this deal properly up to date.
Just saying, if you're in an accident and insurance adjuster pulls "last 10" from the star port and braking shows no sensor or modified....could cause issues

just purchased a 2007 Aspen. little things here and there to do but nothing too drastic. Today I was just driving along about 25mph (speed limit here in SD) and my wife said, i feel a tapping or thumping on my feet, she was the passenger, I laughed said ya right then all of a sudden it got really loud, as if someone was under the vehicle rapping the underneath with a hammer, only on the passenger side though so I let off the gas to pull over and it stopped.... I started driving again and everything seemed ok for about a half mile then it started all over again for about 15 seconds then stopped........ happen to anyone else here??? I crawled underneath it but everything looks fine and tight. Any thoughts??
Does this thump occur at a regular (low) speed TURN?? If so this would indicate CV joint failure. Turn-pop would be louder
Try turning off AWD 4 wheel drive. Dial on dash area. If this stops it. Would indicate either engaging solenoid for front 4wd inop or stuck slightly. (This would set c/k light on)
If the same above, along with auto-track control off (button below radio) would indicate, anti slip fighting for control because the viscous engagement in trans box not fully engaging. This symptom would indicate as 1. Check light AND 2. Slip light indicator (3 squiggly lines) AND 3. Anti-Lock light **abs light** (flickering)
Pull codes on it regardless of anything and let's see what's in hard fault code land and recent. Post these codes here. Check the A/C lines that follow underneath to the rear A/C. Make sure the plastic push holders are firm.
You ride in pass side while she drives and verify the noise IS actually outside the cabin before we both look stupid. Lol

OK, never figured out the tapping noise on the passenger side floor board but it has not happened in the last 70 miles so on to the next issue... couldnt figure out wire the "low tire" light kept coming on until I realized that the RF wheel has a regular style valve stem, gonna change that out monday.... with the ABS scanner it shows u1110 on the scanner, so gonna start changing out speed sensors as that is what I was told... gonna start with the right front as that is the wheel with the wrong stem and maybe whoever screwed it up?? was told by chrysler ford not to start with the ABS module because they hardly ever go out and he couldnt remember the last time he had to have one chaged out... he too agreed that it was most likely a speed sensor...Other than that... 300 miles of owning it and I really like it.
