Default Evap solenoid hose

Does anyone have the part # for the lower (bottom) hose that connects to the vapor solenoid?
I was replacing the solenoid and snapped the line off at the 90deg bend.

Hello and welcome to CF. 1st lets start with what year, engine size and 2WD or 4WD. 2nd please include the part number for this "vapor solenoid" so we can look it up to verify which hose you are talking about. Pretty sure it's called something else by Chrysler as no results turn up for a vapor solenoid. Also, a photo may help in confirming correct part.

You are correct. The lower PURGE VALVE hose is what broke at the plastic 90 deg fitting.
2007 Aspen 4.7L flex fuel 4X4
I can't seem to find a diagram showing that particular hose and part number.

That's what I was thinking you meant. I've found the upper hose (although it is discontinued) but still looking for the lower hose. Trying to determine where it goes to as it is not listed as part of the purge valve in the parts diagram which means it is probably listed with what it connects to. I think it goes to the vapor canister and I found a hose from it, but it just doesn't look long enough based on pictures. Might be better to try and find the fitting at a parts store or you may have to search junk yards. If the upper one is discontinued, the lower one is probably discontinued as well. I'm still looking for the part though. I'll let you know what I find.

So what I have found:

I followed the hose from the purge valve. It goes down the back of the engine, follows the drivers side of the transmission and then has another connector (same 90 degree as at purge valve) which I believe connects to the nipple connector on the Control Valve To Canister Tube (52855365AB) pictured below. This tube is the one I was seeing that connects to the vapor canister that was short. I loose it shortly after this connector as it goes above fuel tank.

I found what could possibly be the name for the hose you are looking for. Vapor Canister Purge Valve Hose Connector. However, I am unable to find it for the Aspen. Found for several other Mopar vehicles, but not Aspen. I have a feeling that the hose itself is just a basic generic hose and the connector itself is what you need to be looking for.

I'm afraid at this point you will probably need to go to a dealer to find the part as I do not see it listed anywhere. I'm sorry, I tried. I'll say this hose is going to be a bugger to replace if/when you find it.

I found that one available through an online Mopar dealer and ordered. They are only one state away, so anticipate receiving quickly.
Is the truck driveable at all with the hose busted under the hood?

Which one did you order? The one I pictured? I don't think you need that one. That one is under the truck by the fuel tank and connects to the vapor canister. I just showed it for reference as the line you need connects to it under there. I can't find the one you need listed.

Not sure if it will drive or not without that line. It is part of the emissions system. If it does run, I'm sure it will trip a code of some kind which you can just get cleared when it is fixed.
