Default heating a/c module and overhead console

I have a 2007 Aspen...the heating module and the vehicle info center in the overhead console stopped working. The remote control key fob also stopped working. Everything else is fine. I replaced the blower motor relay with another one hoping that was the issue, but there was no change. I disconnected the battery and also jump started, but to no avail. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and how it was resolved.

I checked the fuses...they're okay. I called a local Chrysler service department. They told me fuse 28 is the common problem. There is NO fuse 28.

I'm fairly sure that fuse is located under the hood rather that inside the vehicle in the kick panel. I think it's in the IPM that has most of the higher amperage circuits running through it. Look under the hood it should be there. Best thing to do is get a cheap test light and clip the ground to a good ground and then probe the fuses with the key on... I'd be curious as to what the outcome is so please update this thread. Try swapping relays also is the fuse tests ok.

This is what you're looking for. The BCM is bolted transversely to the front of it and the molex plugs are a little 'hidden' in the inside edge.
