Cognacaspen trust me you wont need to spend the $1500 you have for this simple mod. I also live in houston, tx. and my brother knows this local vendor that can get HID kits with relays for $70 a set. Now as far as digital HIDs I think would only be necessary if the regular HIDs interefere with the radio frequency or something but I could be wrong. I still haven't installed my HIDs so i couldnt tell you how hard it is.

 

The HID Factory in Houston installs the HID conversion kits for only $100 with warranty. I did 2 of my cars and they are still bright like a champ...lol
