how to remove air filter cover on the aspen

how to remove air filter cover on the aspen
tried to install new air filter cant seem to get the cover off,i removed the three clamps that hold the cover on tried to push the clips out that hold the cover on .i thought i could remove it without removing all the hoses,didnt know what didnt know what kinda problem that would be, i change the filter on my 300c no problem. ijust didnt want to break anything.
