Need replacement 18in tire reccomendations
Has anyone had the chance to get their 18in tires replaced? I have 20k miles on my set and the fronts need replacement already. The alignment has contributed to the wear too. Also, here in Texas, the ground is so hot that the heat also contributed to the agressive wear also. I wouldn't get the Goodyear OEM one's since they wore out too quick. Was thinking about either Michelin's, BF Goodrich, or Yokohamas. Thoughts?

My OEM SRAs were replaced under warranty. I went with Wrangler Silent Armors. They have been very good thus far. You will lose MPG though -- as they are a lot heavier, and more rolling resistance than SRAs. They have the mountain snowflake for "severe snow rating". Do you want an AT or HT tire? Grabber HTS or Michelin LTX MS/2 would be great. I'd stay clear of the BFG Long Trails. Those are the old design, and don't rate very well. The new Long Trail Tours are good, but I don't think they come in our size. For ATs, try Revo 2, Destination AT, or Michelin LTX AT 2.

I thought about that the moment I got back to my car, LOL. Bridgestone, not BFG. I have seen some of the Aspens/Durangos with Bridgestone Duelers on them, but I don't know if they're any good or just the Discount Tire Manager's Special.
