Default Radio brightness control

How do I dim the radio screen at night. I have a 2007 Aspen with nav system. It does not dim when you turn on the headlights or use the instrument panel dimmer dial?

Press the "menu" hard key, touch "display setting", and choose "auto color mode". You can also choose manually between daytime and nighttime colors, which is the only way to manually change the brightness on the screen.

Right now it should be in the manual daytime mode.

And make sure your dash light brightness **** is not set to full on. You have to back it off the detent. I found this out when I kept setting the radio/nav screen to auto, but it was always on full bright (daytime mode) at night.
