Smile Uconnect & UCI

I just bought a Chrysler Aspen 2008 and it does not have Uconnect installed. Is this something I can buy and install on my own? Also is the UCI (universal consumer interface) a part of Uconnect. I want to be able to hook-up my ipod and control on screen.

Thanks for the help!!

Did you ever get this figured out? We just bought an 08' and manual says there's a plug somewhere inthe glovebox. Cannot find it.

Default Uconnect

Based on my understanding Uconnect is used for Bluetooth connection to you cell phone and not for you iPod. If you want to connect your iPod you need a Mygig "system/radio/cd". BUT I could be wrong.
