Default upgrade to factory nav

upgrade to factory nav:
I'd like to upgrade the base radio in my new Aspen (Dad's actaully) to the Chrysler NAV unit and would appreciate advice from anyone who has done this.

cant tell ya the priice but i know they are around 1800 and to install swap out your old radio and place the GPS around the radio thats it

nope plug and play noting needs to be changed u will only add a GPS atenna thats it

I thought for sure that the radio was bigger and the wood trim/bezel piece might have to be changed.

if it is offered through mopar then its teh same size radio most of them are huge now ne way with a6 dick cd changer or nav unit

You will need a different front bezel and a different braket to hold the larger NAV radio. I just had it done.
