Default Passenger side seat control problem.

I'm having a problem with my passenger side seat controls on my 2005 Xfire. I am only able to move the seat back and foward, and tilt the back rest front and back, but I am unable to move the seat up or down, like my drivers seat. I press the horrizontal button down and pull up but nothing.
