Hey guys, thanks for the help thus far as a lurker

My vehicle has a plug hanging in front of the front valve cover. The wire runs off of the ignition coil wiring wraps.

at 1:54 (where the video should start) You can see there is a small black box that is bolted in front of the VC, that appears to be where that little wire runs to. Does anyone know what it is?

I think it is a noise suppressor to keep high voltage ignition noise out of the radio/video system.

 

Correct it is a Capacitor to suppress electronic "noise" from the vehicle electrical system.
