Hi everyone, My drivers side low beam headlight stopped working. All my other lights still work fine. My 04 came with DS2 HID lights. they have a blue tint to them. The first thing I did was replace the bulb with no results. Next I checked the power and ground with a test light at the headlight plug. I had to look at a wiring diagram to get the wire colors. The left low beam power wire is (white/dark blue) The ground is (black/light green) Both wires are working. How ever I did find a ground wire that is (green/white strip) that's not working. I thought that must be the problem. So I looked up the ground on the diagram. It is location 103. Which is on the drivers side frame below the battery. their are 3 post close together down there. I think 103 is the post farthest forward towards the bumper. None of them looked that bad, moderate corrosion. I removed and cleaned the post and connector. Still grn/white wire no ground. Next I'll clean and tighten the other 2 ground posts down there to see if I can get the ground working. I don't Know what else to do if that doesn't work. Could the headlight can itself go bad?
