"07 Pacifica Won't Pull Out of Park!!!

Drove to work today, parked the Pacifica, no issues. Come out at night to go home...it will not pull out of park. Re-apply the brake, re-insert the key, it just will not come out of park. What's up!!!

When you hit the brake you should hear a click from around the shifter. I would remove the bezel and check the release mechanism.
