My 04 Pacifica lift gate won’t open when I press the button on the key fob or when I press the overhead button. When I do press them it acts like it’ll open but it only unlatches and does not open. I have to open it by pressing the button on the lift gate it’s self on the outside and it’ll unlatch and I can open it manually.

 

I have the same problem on my 2006 Pacifica. Yellow lights blink when pressing key fob but nothing doing with the lift gate. When i press button on lift gate it unlatches and makes lock clicking sound. Like if the lock is trying to do something but can't. I then have to manually lift the gate open. It's nice to have an automatic lift but i just want to fix enough for the lift gate to lock and unlock. I can lock the doors with key fob but still upen the lift gate.
