J1850 Bus Shorted to Battery
My guess is that I have voltage shorted to the CAN network and I am thinking it is probably somewhere near the transmission by the Temperature Sensor. Hell it may even be the Trans Temp Sensor itself. That is unless that is the default value. the other thing we have been having issues with is the HVAC Head unit has been overheating. the A/C has been working on and off. The Evaporator has a very minor leak in it and I have been using a/c pro to keep it at bay as long as possible as i really do not want to tear the dash apart. My mom also recently put something in the glove box. The cover for the shifter is also broken and has been that way for 2 yrs My moms car is not exactly the cleanest. So these are the only potential things that we have been having issues with.
The trans was working perfectly until this now it barely shifts into gear and doesn't want to move very well at all. The tow truck had it towed back to my house he had to rev it very high to get it to go up onto the flatbed.
I am looking for anyone with any knowledge of known can rub spots or correlating information.

You can physically feel the outside of the unit around the control head and it is hot almost so much you can't touch it. Though it has been doing this the entire time we have owned the car and it is "normal" for this age range of cars. We have had 1 oem hvac control head put in before and then one aftermarket which supposedly "fixed" this but, it just doesn't overheat and break it still gets very hot. Confirmed this via forums and research by me and my old mechanic.
I am a big rig technician/mechanic I work at a ford/western star/mitsubishi medium/heavy duty dealership. Its really crazy with the stuff all in one building but.. my point being I can fix the stuff if need be.
I pulled fuses yesterday trying to isolate out modules from causing the issues. I am by philly so the heat wave by here has been slowing diag down a lot. I pulled the 2 hvac fuses one at a time with no difference but, i have yet try both at once.
I figured the hvac was on the same network. I did not see the tcm listed in the fuse cover. I will have to look and see if they have it listed under a different acronym. I am also wondering if it is shorted right by the fuse panel or in the bcm just because pulling fuses seemed to make no difference.
Also posted on ericthecarguys forum as well as I am a frequent user there and they said they found some TSBs for a trans harness.
I will check the hvac 2 fuses same time and get back to you guys along with trying to find and get that trans harness.
