2005 Pacifica touring 2wd rear camera
Hi, I recently was lucky enough to get my parents 2005 Pacifica 2wd touring with 62,000 miles on it. I was hoping someone could answer a few questions.
I was wanting to know if its possible to get and install the rear camera that I think was a option they did not take when they bought it.
I also wanted to know is the disc to update the gps available and worth the 100 dollars.
I was wondering if there is a aux port to plug my android cell in.I do have all the video/audio ports but no ipod or cell aux.
I was told to change oil every 3000 and was wanting to know if this is needed or 5000 is fine.
Last but not least I took it from Vegas to Chicago and was wondering if this 2wd is gonna be nice in the snow or are they all over the place?
Thank you so much for your time and best regards!!Jon

I can help you on 2 things:
1. If you are on regular oil, do the 3000 miles (or in my case, in Canada, 5000km). I'm on synthetic oil and do my oil changes at 8000 km (or 5000 miles for you). Never a problem so far, owned the car for 2 years now.
2. I live in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. We can have pretty bad winters. The FWD (2wd) isn't bad at all in the snow. With the traction control, you'll be fine. Also, as recommend from the Owner's manual, in very deep snow, switch to shiftronic and start off in 3rd. I've done it multiple times, as well as regular takeoffs in heavy, deep snow. I must say tho I prefer to start off in 3rd, almost impossible to spin the tires.
I also have an 05'. The is no aux port that I know of.
