Question 2007 Pacifica detente arm question

Okay. I have a 2007 Pacifica Limited, 62te transmission. It needed the kickdown solenoid replaced. That is all back in the car.

Here is the question. The detente arm for manual shifter jumped out of position before I made a mental note of how it goes together. It has a bent down end on one end. Does that bend go towards the transmission or the front of the car? I think it goes toward the transmission. (but I might have it upside down)

Now 2nd half of the question. Does the bend slide up the side of the valve body or does the bend press in combination with the screw and create loaded tension.

How tight should the screw be? Is it an adjustment screw or do you pull it all the way down? If I do not tightened it down will the tension keep it from coming out?

Thanks for your help and thoughts! I have searched and searched without being able to find an answer.
