have a 2006 and 2008 pacifica. the 08 check engine light came on, but the obd-II code reader I have will not link up to read it. works fine on the 06. did they change something.

 

Are you getting any response at all? The reader pulls power from the vehicle and I have seen, on another of my vehicles where a fuse failed and therefore my reader would not work. I cannot tell you which fuse it would be on the Pacifica so you would just have to hunt and peck a bit. Sorry.

 

I have an 07 that gives link error on obd II reader.

 

that's because the 07 is a different bus system its CAN
