hell everybody i hope somebody can help me out...i have a 2008 pacifica with the 3.8 v6 engine it has a rod knock...i have called numerous salvage yards and locally engine is not available..they said that from 2008-2012 engine is needed...also if available cost abt 1500 used....since i have seen other 3.8 engines from caravans they sure do look the same...would anybody know if i could use just block and heads from 2005-2006 caravan and reuse timing cover and other parts from 08 old engine?????please help thank you
