Default 2021 Fuel door and sliding door interlock stuck

The fuel door interlock is tuck on my 2021, the driver's sliding door will not open. I can pop the sliding door open manually and I see that the catch does not open when the fuel door is closed. The fuel door feels very loose when it is open, it easily moves up and down by and inch or so. I suspect that the linkage between the fuel door and the sliding door catch is disconnected.
Is there a fix for this?

Did you ever get this resolved? I just had the same thing happen to me today.

In a way: I removed the plastic pin on the door. Yes I disabled a safety future.
The interlock between the fuel door and the sliding door is entirely mechanical. There is a metal rod that opens or closes the catch when the fuel door is opened and closed, this has become disconnected from the fuel door. I did try to fix it, but it's summer in Florida and my need to fix it was overcome by my need to escape the heat. In theory you need to pull out the fuel filler housing and reconnect the interlock mechanism.
The images below should give you some idea of what you're dealing with.

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling it was something like that. I’m in the Texas heat right now so I’ll look into it more when it cools off as well. I did adjust the catch so it no longer hangs up but like you it bypasses the safety feature so it’s something I’ll need to address at some point.

I also had this issue with my 2020 Pacifica. The fuel door interlock (metal rod) comes detached from the fuel door and will not release the latch connected to the door. The fuel door is also a little loose feeling. The latch to the door can be accessed after removing the rear interior wall panel and then removing a foam insert around the seat belt. See picture for what it looks like, metal rod with yellow plastic bands around it. If you manually flip the latch the door will unlock and become operable again. However the interlock will also be disabled. Unfortunately I was unable to figure out how to access the interlock connection to the fuel door to fix the problem.

I managed to repair mine. The plastic hinge pin had worked it's way lose and shifted up in the fuel filler housing, the bottom part of the hinge pin was no longer in contact with the housing, so the fuel filler door could pivot around the top part of the hinge pin and flop around. The hinge pin also operates the interlock rod, but the hinge pin was no longer being rotated by the fuel filler door and left the interlock in a locked state. I had to remove the fuel filler housing, reseat the hinge pin in the housing (I glued it in place) and then reconnect the interlock and refit the fuel filler housing. You will notice that the hinge pin has a groove in the bottom part and that mates with a plastic piece in the filler door, on mine the plastic piece on the door had broken off and so the pin could freely rotate. The glue fixed that problem. The door interlock is operational again.
How do you remove the fuel filler housing? If you open the fuel filler door you will notice 4 dimples in the housing: 2 top and 2 bottom. Behind each dimple there is a tab that needs to be pushed in and then you can pull the housing out. Do the top 2 first. It was easier for me to remove the wheel well liner and remove 2 or 3 bolts holding the fuel filler neck, then reach inside and push down the tabs on the housing and push it out. You can remove the housing without removing the wheel well liner, it's just way more fun.

Below image showing dimples in the face of the housing:

Here you can see the tabs located behind each dimple, also the hinge pin that drives the interlock lever:

The door in the open position, notice how the hinge pin has rotated to pull the interlock lever to the unlocked position:

The rod that operates the interlock:
