Default Aftermarket stereo in 06 Pacifica

Hey guys, I just bought a new stereo for my wifes car and I bought the scosche install wiring kit. Everything is hooked up and the stereo turns on and works but there are no speakers. I can hook up a stand alone speaker and it works. I read about the amp in the rear but the wire
they claim to be the amp wire isn't in the dash. How do I power up the amp to get speakers?

that is 12v key on power. Where is the amp located? I tore up the back panels on the right and there is no amp back there.

Amp is fine as I keep putting the stock radio in it so my wife will have a radio till I figure this out. Now this morning I got a U110a code. That states no comm. between the BCM and steering wheel controls. will this persist with an aftermarket radio in it?
