Hi, I have a 2008 Pacifica. Yesterday I turned on the a/c and found out the blower fan only works on speeds 1-3 but not on 4(high). What should I check on to solve this problem? Thank you.

 

possible blower motor power module or the ac control head

 

Could it be the blower motor resistor? I have the manual A/C

it was the resistor. i was able to buy a new one for $13.99 with a lifetime warranty and now all speeds are working. thanks chrysler tech.

I kinda have the same sort of problem. I have a 2004 Pacifica and my problem is that the only speed I get from the unit is low. But when I turn the ac/heater off the fan blows high???? This also happens when turning off car to get out. Once key out of ignition but before I open door the fan blows on high??

Where is this resistor that you talk of?? All I can find info on is the relay that may be the problem or the power module or the motor itself.

 

hi soulpoehl. i think the 2004 pacifica has the automatic a/c so it has a power module instead of a resistor. its more expensive but u can change it yourself. u have to open the glovebox door then push on the sides of the door to clear the rubber bumpers. then let it hang down and the module is right there with 2 wire plugs connected to it. remove the plugs and unbolt the 2 bolts and it comes right out
