Default blowing air problem

My 2005 air blower will not shut off. Temp controls work fine and I can switch between hot and cold air, I just cannot shut the blower off, and once in awhile it will stay on when the car is shut off. What might becausing this? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Is that an easy fix? Or should I look at taking it to a shop?

Did you get this problem solved?

I have the same problem. The blower comes on at maximum speed when I turn on the ignition and stays on until The ignition is turned off again. Sometimes it stays on for a while more(and also the climate display), but I guess this is a normal dry out routine as it did this from time to time before also.

I thought it was related to another "power issue" I have. But maybe not? I think I will check out the resistor assembly as well.

It turns out that my PAC does have a "blower power module". This is a Pulse With Modulated(PWM) electronic (MOSFET) fan speed controller and not an ordinary resistor assy.
For sure this was the reason for the fan not stopping like Chrysler Tech said. The fan was running full speed even with the PWM controll wire disconnected. Trying an attempt to repair the module tomorrow. If it does'nt work out I`ll have to get a new one.

Changing this module is an easy fix if you did not already get it repaired. Placed behind the glove compartment.

At least one of my problems solved. Changed the MOSFET(powerstage) of the "blower power module." 6$, 15 min fix. Works like a charm.
