Question Can a Pacifica be stolen?

Hi,
I had a hard time getting the fob key programmed for my 2006 Pacifica. So it got me thinking that it would be pretty difficult for a Pacifica to fell victim of car theft. So just for fun I am putting this question.

Have you heard of a Pacifica (with programmable key fob) got stolen while the owner had possession of all the keys?

ANY car can be stolen You can be assured the best thieves are a step ahead of the manufacturer at at given point in time. But WILL someone steal your Pacifica...probably not. WILL they steal your Escalade? Yes probably if they get the chance.

Yeah I have also read the report that currently Escalade has highest probability of being stolen.

I remember from the movie 'Gone in 60 seconds' that gang has to get laser cut keys fom Germany to start the Mercedes. That was the only way to get the car started. How are they possibly stealing Escalades? If they found a hack to fool the Escalade's computer, then effort to find & finance a hack for Pacifica may not be worth it, right?

With a flatbed tow truck, you can steal any car. You don't need the keys to chop it up and sell the parts.

Something like a Pacifica or any other normal type passenger car would have to be easy pickins for it to be worth their while. Just don't leave your car somewhere like that and you'll be fine. As for aftermarket alarms, people just ignore them. You know how it is these days. Ignition disable is the best way, however a flatbed or a wheel grabber (I forget the correct term) is something you'll never be able to deter unless you put a boot on your car
