check engine and over 70 codes
On June 3, while driving our Chrysler Pacifica hybrid 2018 had service engine lights on and notification on the dashboard saying service electrical system service shifter with flashing lights. We brought our car to the Temecula Chrysler dealership service department. They said there were many codes and cleared the codes they tried to turn the car on again and the car turned on fine with no service engine light on. Multiple times in the next couple months my car would not start and it would say service electrical system service, stability, control, and service shifter. I would turn my car off then wait anywhere from one to four hours and the car would turn on without any service engine lights. On August 16th my car would not turn on service engine lights were on again. I tried turning the car off and on again it let me drive the car with no problem until I stopped at a stop sign and the car would not go the dashboard lights came on saying service engine service shifter and electrical system. The car would not switch gears to park or would not turn off. This was scary as we were in the middle of an intersection and I had my small children in the van. I was able to put the car in reverse after a while and reverse all the way to a safe location, we turn the car off eventually and the car was able to be turned back on with all service engine lights on again. We took the car to Temecula Chrysler service department , it had over 70 codes and left it there until now. I have checked with the service department and they said they are not able to reproduce the codes upon turning on the vehicle. Technician tried driving it over 100 miles to see if the service engine would be on again.
I don’t feel safe driving my family in this car and the service department says there is nothing they could do to help me . The minivan has 76,000 miles on it currently. I am unsafe driving my 4 small children in this vehicle and can not afford to rent a car until this problem is fixed. Any advice on what I should do?

What is the age/condition of the battery? Chryslers do not tolerate low voltage conditions well, as can be caused by weak/failing battery, and set all sorts of seemingly random codes. A failing alternator can also allow a significant ac (alternating current) ripple that will play havoc with the various computer/control modules.
Suggest having the battery and charging system tested.
Also suggest verifying the ground points/wires are all corrosion-free and secure as well as all of the power connections. A poor ground will reduce the current flow and create a low voltage situation. I base this on the intermittent nature of the condition.
